I'd rather sacrifice a sheet of toilet paper or (half a) paper tissue every day and use it as a filter. Wearing this mask without any filter probably doesn't provide any protection. Just two layers of fabric is too permeable! The best you can do is fulfill a mask requirement.↵↵I'm sorry I can't find the article that was recently published about harmful substances (for skin or lungs, depending) in reusable masks. I can't remember if it said anything about the carbon, so not necessarily.↵↵The mask with 5 filters only costs 2 francs more than the 5 replacement filters. With pieces of fabric measuring 20cm x 18.75cm, you can sew 20 masks with one running meter (Fr. 24.90), cheap enough to wash them for peace of mind even if it wasn't really necessary yet. You can call for a free fabric sample to see/feel it yourself. At the end of April, Migros was already selling masks from the Confederation in stores and others online, selected according to their own ideas. And now, in the case of fabric masks, it is selling community masks based on the Covid-19 Taskforce from Switzerland/Europe (currently not available) on the one hand and Osann, cheap goods sold in Germany (2 francs for a pretty fabric mask without filter) from China, with a price difference/package of just 5 centimes. I could imagine that the Osann masks are simply quicker for Migros to procure. True, such a device will certainly be expensive, but there are tests with dogs. Trained sniffer dogs can smell positive after 14 days of training and UV light kills. There are already escalators where the handrail is disinfected with light. There are also plans for lifts where the air is to be filtered with light... What is also great is copper.
