General: First: The new store is clearly laid out, nicely organized and pleasant to shop in. Conclusion: Positive! Second: I don't think I can believe my eyes, only two cash registers with cash or card! No way! Migros only wants self-scanner checkouts, and the cases of fraud are increasing, as Migros itself writes. A step back into the Stone Age, as with the Termobons that fade after a while. Only steps backwards. What a pity.

Where is the step backwards if self-scanner checkouts are installed? It would be more of a step backwards if 16 conventional checkouts were installed again, 14 of which are always closed anyway. At least the self-scanner checkouts are open.

However, there are five more on the upper floor - that's more than before the renovation. Our idea is for people to start their larger purchases on the ground floor, then go upstairs and pay there. Downstairs, we have deliberately opted for fewer staffed checkouts but more Subito stations, as the marketplace and fast food stations tend to be used for smaller purchases. Our experience shows that our customers are very happy to pay for these small purchases with Subito. We hope for your understanding and look forward to your next visit to Gäuggeli! So now my conclusion about the new Gäuggeli. the restaurant is nice. the flower corner, Denner, kiosk and Tchibo are also nice. the 1st floor is "bright", but still takes some getting used to. the first floor is too dark and gloomy for me personally with so much black. i don't like the fact that there are only 2 cash desks. in my opinion there should have been one more.What urgently needs to be changed is that the cashiers on the first floor, including the flower corner, either get warmer jackets for there or as Öfali, because it is A.... cold there if you sit there for a long time to work. This is the 2nd conversion I have experienced. I still remember the Migi like it was only yesterday.

I can only agree with "rollimaus"! You have to walk quite far until you only have one "Wägeli" and then go back to the open stands. As it is unprotected at the beginning and from the draught, the cashiers and plant sellers should really get warm jackets. It might be good for the plants if it's cool, then they will last a little longer. Best wishes before Christmas armino c.
