Light line, lactose-free, gluten-free, vegan... Migros already offers some good lines. In my opinion, what is missing is a sugar-free line. Of course, it would be even better to leave out added sugar (maltodextrin, dextrose, glucose syrup, fructose, maltose, caramel syrup, agave syrup and any other sugar synonyms) from foods. I don't understand why sugar is still needed in a fruit yoghurt. Or even worse: in salad dressing? You don't have a single salad dressing without sugar... It would be nice if the added sugar could be omitted, or if that's not possible, it would be nice to have a line with products that don't contain added sugar... and please don't compensate with fat... Thank you :D

Sugar is a really big problem. Basically, sugar helps to preserve products for longer. So this is very important for grocery stores. It is a fact that the products on the shelves are not made on the same day they are bought, but it is also incomprehensible that some products really do contain too much sugar. People often forget that the ingredients themselves (e.g. fruit) already contain a lot of sugar. The sugar is then often added to make the product even sweeter. In any case, I think it is very good when the sugar content of products is questioned! Improvements are always desirable!

Hey that's a really good idea, I always wonder why so many foods contain so much added sugar, especially as obesity is becoming more and more of a problem in our society and associated diseases such as type 2 diabetes, metabolic diseases and cardiovascular diseases are becoming more and more common. In general, most of us probably consume too much sugar in our diet, I recently read that we should only consume 10% of our daily calorie requirement in sugar. With an average intake of 2000kcal, that would be just 50g. I'm sure I often exceed this limit, and of course as a consumer you should pay attention to what you eat, but it's not that easy, especially with sugar. I also hope that the companies will make more changes here.

I absolutely agree with you zzz... There would be so much potential, you could also add "natural" sweeteners like stevia or something similar to the products. I discovered lucuma powder a few weeks ago. It's a plant from South America that is not only sweet, but also contains lots of minerals and vitamins. The taste takes a little getting used to, but it would definitely be something for Migros. (Source: https://www.botanikmeister.de/lucuma-test/ )
Hello zzz Regarding the timing: We will be launching three new organic fruit yogurts in the yogurt range in the course of 2021 that do not contain any added sugar or "artificial" sweeteners. We do not yet have a more precise date for this; sorry. The sugar reduction affects all product ranges - we are generally working on reducing the sugar content in our products. We have no plans to compensate for the sugar by adding more fat. Best regards, Angela
I like the Bifidus yogurt Nature, but I don't understand why this yogurt has to contain 5.6 g of sugar per 150 g cup. Isn't nature nature? Is there any yogurt that you can eat if you want to watch the sugar content?

This is lactose and not added sugar
I totally agree with you, especially when it comes to salad dressing. That was also the answer to my bad skin recently. Many product lines are "equipped" with a lot of sugar, which I can't understand or support at all, so I'm also in favour of a sugar-free product line. Thank you for your contribution!
Yes, there is too much sugar everywhere, in drinks, yogurt, salad dressings and so on. Natural yoghurt is low in sugar, you can add your own fruit to it and you can make your own salad dressing.

Hello Delfina Thank you for your contribution. This yoghurt only contains naturally occurring milk sugar (lactose), which can be found in the nutritional table under "of which sugar". If sugar were added, this would be shown on the list of ingredients. The Coconut Coyog line does not contain any added sugar or sweeteners. Under Léger and Bifidus 0% you will also find yoghurts that are sweetened with sweeteners instead of sugar. We are also currently planning a new line of fruit and flavored yoghurts that contain no added sugar at all. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to give an exact launch date, but the yoghurts will be available in 2021. best regards, Angela

Thank you for your answer. Oligofructose is mentioned on the list of ingredients. And that is certainly not lactose and it is not clear to me why it has to be added. Sweeteners are not an alternative for me, so I am looking forward to the new yoghurt line.
