Why is YOU Mozzarella 50 centimes more expensive than Leger Mozzarella?

Hello everyone, thank you for your messages. sugar reduction and the naturalness of a product are topics that our customers are increasingly concerned about. With the YOU articles, we are meeting this customer need. Léger products with added sweeteners meet other needs. If a Léger item is purchased, we will not remove it from our range. Kind regards, Heidi

What nonsense! You have already removed so many Léger products that have done well! Like the Cottage Cheese, the Brie, the light protein bread, etc. So don't talk yourselves out of it but bring them back to us! Even the staff couldn't understand everything!

You and Leger are per se 2 pairs of socks. So why do you keep replacing Leger products with You products when these are geared towards other groups?

Because it is probably financially worthwhile to use EEnergy

Hello everyone, hello @EEnergy, my contribution from the previous post also applies here. However, I have one addition: we do not remove a line from our range that is well received by our customers, is often purchased and enjoys a correspondingly positive image. We would be doing ourselves a disservice! Offering a new line means a lot of effort, which also requires a lot of time and money investment.
I know that (almost) empty shelves can give the impression that a product is being bought a lot and is popular. However, as we adjust the delivery quantities to the expected sales per store (to avoid unnecessary food waste due to approaching consumption dates), this can happen. It is also always possible that individual products or lines are better received in one region than in another. Our decision - to keep or not - is based on the sales figures for all Migros stores in Switzerland. If further production (own industry) or a product is no longer worthwhile throughout Switzerland, we remove it from the range. As mentioned at the beginning, we examine such decisions very carefully.
It is a fact that Léger is selling less and less. Nevertheless, we are still sticking to the line. For this reason, we also put it to a vote on Migipedia to decide which Léger yogurt should return to the range. The decision was made in favor of Léger Hazelnut yogurt, and you can buy it again at your local Migros.
Enjoy the weekend :-) Best regards, Sina

Yes, the Léger yogurt in the office fridge doesn't stand out from the others.

I really like the Léger design. You can immediately recognize what it is on the shelf.
However, I would be ashamed of myself if I bought products from the You line, which has a completely wrong design.

I also think the Leger line is quite successful. I like the blue color.
But you could also make a sub-category of M-Classic out of it.
M-Classic Light line...
M-Classic Low Fat/Carb/HighProtein

I don't think it's a good idea. Firstly, it's confusing and nonsensical to have two lines in one. Secondly, they have now started to soften the classic design of M-Classic (see new products such as ketchup), which again looks strange and irritating.

@EEnergyGoodidea with the M sublines! About You Mozzarella: Interesting nutritional values (and that's what matters most to me personally), I'll take a closer look in the store and try it, hopefully it will also have good melting properties for gratinating vegetables or for a healthy pizza ;-P.
