Sustainable Fairtrade vegetables?

Nachhaltiges Fairtrade Gemüse?!

I like to eat a lot of vegetables. I try to buy seasonal and regional produce. But I want to enjoy zucchinis, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes as "my sin in winter". I read from Migros that you are active in the area of sustainable production and that I can rely on labels(http://www.migros.ch/generation-m/de/gesellschaft-mitarbeitende/partnerschaften-mitgliederschaften/nachhaltige-produktion.html). I think "from the region" is great! However, doubts about the sustainability of Migros vegetables are certainly not unfounded in view of the negative headlines listed below. For fresh vegetables in particular, I would like to see more transparency, traceability, e.g. a fair trade label like Max Havelaar for fruit, precise details of suppliers with addresses, vegetable producer portraits in the Migros newspaper and on Migipedia; information on whether vegetables were grown in a heated or unheated greenhouse or in the open air; precise description of the variety, including information on whether it is an F-hybrid, etc.

I have the following specific question about the sustainability of Migros vegetables:
- Which winter zucchinis, winter cucumbers and winter cherry tomatoes from Migros can I buy that you could guarantee me that a) I am not contributing to the exploitation of workers, b) the eco-balance is comparatively justifiable and c) I am not ingesting questionable amounts of pesticides? In particular, I would like clues that allow me to make the "right choice" between: M-budget zucchini vs. organic zucchini; conventional cucumber vs. organic cucumber vs. Nostrano; tomato from European southern countries vs. Swiss tomato?

I also wonder about the negative headlines: What has Migros changed here in the meantime?

Locals in Almeria hunt down cheap immigrant workers from North Africa for winter tomatoes (Kassensturz 2001, source: http://www.kassensturz.sf.tv/Nachrichten/Archiv/2001/03/27/kassensturzsendungsartikel/So-lassen-Migros-und-Co.-im-Winter-Tomaten-produzieren)

The pesticide contamination of (imported) winter tomatoes, winter zucchinis and winter peppers is also a cause for concern... (http://www.greenpeace.de/themen/chemie/presseerklaerungen/artikel/neuer_greenpeace_ratgeber_emessen_ohne_pestizideem/)

Even organic Bud vegetables are unfortunately not always fair, not even socially acceptable! (Tagesanzeiger 2011, http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/wirtschaft/unternehmen-und-konjunktur/Die-gar-nicht-heile-BioWelt/story/14347634)

And even if I fall back on Swiss quality: For packaged salads from Migros, employees had (have?) to work illegally 55 hours on five and a half days per week with a wage of less than 3000 francs! (Kassensturz 2007, source: http://www.kassensturz.sf.tv/Nachrichten/Archiv/2007/04/03/kassensturzsendungsartikel/Fertigsalate-Lange-Arbeitszeiten-in-Gemuesefabriken)

I look forward to hearing your comments and responses, dear Migros team, as well as those of other customers... Thank you and have a good week!
