Quote from Monini: "We have removed the information, including the acidity, on all our back labels because the labeling law has changed and now requires the values to be displayed at the end of the shelf life and no longer at the time of bottling (as indicated on the back labels). As all these values can vary over time, for example due to the storage method, we prefer to remove all this information that could be variable, we are not in a position to know how the bottles are stored once they have left our premises and make predictions of something we are not sure about.
The law says that if we write the acidity on the back labels, we also have to add the other values like peroxides/UV absorption/waxes. So instead of estimated values, we decided to remove all information that may have changed at the time of consumption."
Monini has started the changeover at Monini Delicato and will gradually adapt all bottles.
