Why was the strawberry ice cream Mixi-Maxi actually taken out of the range again? I was so pleased to see it in the frozen food aisle two years ago.

Yes, I feel exactly the same way... The ice cream is great, but unfortunately it's not marketed to the right target group. Today's children have an American-influenced taste. The natural-tasting Stengeliglacé won't appeal to them. I think women would be the ideal target group. It's not too rich, tastes fresh and fruity and yet the core is nice and creamy. There used to be another variant (not from Migros --> called Match Formula Uno) and it had a nice yellow lemon coating. It's a shame that when it comes to food, we imitate the Americans, who really aren't gourmets. But I've noticed (and I worked in purchasing at Migros, a major competitor, for a long time) that it's all about marketing. The main thing is that the cash register rings (e.g. Herbstchüechli..... so much for tradition..... Everyone just wants a full till/wallet at the end of the month.

I'm at family dinner right now and we're talking about the great old days and the MixiMaxi also came up... if you take it up again you'll have some customers for sure... we love this ice cream and it's just a big piece of childhood...:-) can there be a Corona-Mixi-Maxi-Special...:-) Thanks and would be cool LG Michi
What a shame, we loved this ice cream and would have loved to have it in the freezer again. But you could leave out some other ice creams...
Exactly. This ice cream simply belongs in the range. I love them and would be very disappointed if they were no longer available. Just like the egg and bacon Zöpfli from M-Budget for about 5.20.- :)
I feel the same way...my favorite glacé which brings back childhood memories. I hope sooo much that it will be available to buy again.
