Now I read the headline in the newspaper that Migros Zurich is getting into the hotel business! Where is my promised reward of CHF 1,000 for ideas that are/were implemented? :)

Migros has received so many inspiring ideas. Wholemeal bun, stevia, free shelf etc. and some have already been implemented. I think it's great.

It doesn't say anywhere that SFr. 1000 will be awarded for ideas that are implemented!
It says that SFr. 1000.- will be distributed to the respective users for the most inspiring ideas!
So no one will receive SFr. 1000, but many idea givers will receive part of the SFr. 1000?
So that in the end a total of SFr. 1000.- was distributed!

Thanks for your message. I'll ask internally about the reward - it's quite possible that nothing has been paid out yet.
In addition, Imperator's comment is correct: there is usually not just one person who is rewarded, but usually several suggestions that contribute to the overall idea.

I have clarified exactly how the rewards work. There are only rewards if we do targeted crowdsourcing for a specific product - then it is also explicitly mentioned that there is a reward. Otherwise, it's very difficult for us to trace where an idea comes from and who came up with it first.
In the crowdsourcing where you mentioned your suggestion, we were explicitly looking for a product for the Migros shelves - so unfortunately there is no reward in your case. Sorry to disappoint you.

To be honest, I think that's absolutely cheeky! We share our ideas and Migros can happily help itself to fresh ideas. That's also legitimate and okay. But if a "reward" is mentioned and recorded, then it should also be given and not thrown around with excuses just to avoid having to pay the reward. That is unfair! If you search the forum for the keyword "hotel", you will see that the idea came from me and from which month/year. And Migros only made the news a few days ago. I hereby officially lodge a complaint. It's not primarily about the reward, but about the principle. Keeping your promises is the motto here.

Yes, it could be - but my idea has been implemented and so far I have received nothing but excuses from the community managers. It's not primarily about the reward (it's a nice side effect when your ideas are well received) but about the principle.

Firstly:
As far as I know, the Migros Group owns a total of 5 hotels. One of them is the Hotel Säntispark in Abtwil SG (Genossenschaft Migros Ostschweiz), which is now over 30 years old.
Another hotel is on Monte Generoso (TI) and is currently being completely renovated.
Secondly:
The hotel project of the Migros Cooperative Zurich was not the result of your idea. As the project is already very advanced, it was started long before the takeover by GMZ. It is a project of the former Molino AG, which only recently became part of GMZ and has since been renamed Ospena Group AG. It was only because of this takeover that the headline you mentioned about Migros Zurich entering the hotel business could be formulated in this way.
Conclusion: Migros hotels existed long before your idea and the current project in Zurich has nothing to do with your idea.
