Migros app: shopping list doesn't work (anymore)

Since about 2 weeks, after an update, my shared shopping list no longer works on my cell phone (Android 5). I have already uninstalled the app, deleted all data, reinstalled it, logged in again and it still doesn't work. I would be very grateful if you could fix the problem (as soon as possible).

PS: the shopping list works fine on the tablet / in the web browser (however, the products load very slowly in the list in the web version in the browser - which cannot be due to my fast internet connection, as other downloads work very quickly).

What exactly is not working? Is the shopping list not being displayed at all, or is it not receiving changes from other devices?

Which cell phone are you using?

Phone used: Sony Xpeira Z (there will be a new one soon)

Problem: Shopping list does not load at all

PS: Everything works perfectly on my Samsung tablet with Android 4.XX

I've had the same problem with the Migros app (for which I had to buy an Android (4.4.) cell phone in addition to my WP) for a few days because Migros doesn't want to make an app for WP.

It wasn't just the shopping list that I could no longer see. For example, the images in the promotions page/list were missing. Only the respective products were listed there, but all without an image, which made searching for the desired products tedious.

After I had selected all the promotional products I wanted, I went shopping in the village and found that there was no list at all! :-/
My blue Cumuls vouchers were also not displayed.

So I uninstalled the app last night and then tried to reinstall it.

But every time I clicked on "install", I was told that this would not work without logging in to Google!

I then wanted to try it directly via the Migros homepage.
When I finally found the download link there - after searching for ages - and clicked on it, I got the same message from Google!!! It can't be that you can only get the Migros app with a Google account!!!?

So I logged in to Google after all and clicked on install again
I got the message that the app would be downloaded to my phone shortly. But I couldn't and still can't see anything of this - even after trying again.

But I see tinu 77 didn't get any help with this problem!
I hope I have a bit more luck.

Thanks for describing the problem. I know we recently had an issue with the promotion display on Android devices. I'll enquire straight away if this has been fixed and where the issue with the shopping lists not updating correctly is coming from.



Migros has no influence on the fact that you can only download the app after registering with Google. This is a question of the operating system - as far as I know, Apple also requires you to enter your Apple ID before an app can be downloaded.



However, it is strange that the app was not downloaded even after logging in. Do you still have enough free storage space on your Android phone?

Thank you very much for the turbo-fast answer :-)

Just now it finally worked (after X new attempts) with the download and now all functions react normally again :-)

to the question about the storage space: yes, luckily I still have more than enough of it:-)
But it could also be something like that (the download)
