How well do Migros and Socar fit together?

On the one hand, Migros, with its good name for the Migroliono convenience stores at petrol stations and thus also for the sustainability goals and promises.

Socar, on the other hand, is the Azerbaijani state-owned company.

I find it disturbing that Migros cooperates with oil companies, but on the other hand has environmental goals (Generation M promises) in which CO2 emissions are to be reduced or public transport promoted.
The chosen partner Socar is also an interesting choice. The Azerbaijani state-owned company belongs to a questionable regime and does not cover itself in glory when it comes to fighting corruption. According to Transparency International, Socar is one of the most corrupt oil companies in the world.
