Why has this bread (and its colleague the normal rye bread) disappeared from the range without replacement?
(I do my own shopping at Migros Igelweide in Aarau)

@Theriom: The normal rye bread, probably for the same reason as it has disappeared in Basel and has been for almost 3 years now? Reason: lack of demand? Absolute nonsense, you always had to run to get your hands on one and when there were still a few left I bought two (and froze some) so that I'd have a long supply if there wasn't any left. And then you could also read that other bakeries in Valais were asked to bake to meet the huge demand.

There are actually no plans to bring the normal rye bread back into the range.
However, the rye bread with nuts has been back in stores since November 4 - there was an interruption in supply, which we also very much regret. The bread is currently packaged in a neutral bag and not in the usual packaging.
I hope you discover it in your stores soon too.

Unfortunately, we have had to discontinue the Valais rye bread in the Zurich region. Demand has recently been very low. For this reason, we have decided to discontinue this bread.
The quality of Valais rye bread with nuts and German rye bread, on the other hand, has declined, which is why we have been unable to offer these varieties for around a year.
As it is no longer available in the entire region, I can't offer you the option of ordering it from the store. I'm sorry.
