Dear Emil Heinrich
Thank you for your message and your idea. Do you mean a bonus program for Migipedia participants? Or which participants do you mean?
If you could describe your idea in more detail, I would be happy to pass it on to the relevant people.
Best regards
Tanja, Migipedia team

Objective: Increase participation and quality of Migipedia - ensure that Migipedia is recommended more actively.
@Emil Heinrich,
how well do you know Migipedia?
Keywords do not make a program. Tanja has asked you to be more specific so that she can forward your idea to the person responsible or who will get in touch with you.
Unfortunately, this is just a repetition of the keywords!
@Tanja,
who may remember or in other words: "Who knows for sure?"
After the birth of Migipedia two years ago, there were "Product Sponsors of the Week" from August to October, who were featured in the Sunday and Onlineblick with one of their favorite products in pictures, text and video. These product sponsors, who were characterized by quality and not quantity, were selected weekly by a committee and received a voucher of SFr.500 as a thank you for their commitment on Migipedia.
At that time, the platform was bombarded by contributions without meaningful and useful content, so in my opinion a bonus system would only weaken Migipedia and not strengthen it, as more "junk" would be delivered.
At every event on Migipedia, be it "product testing", "name search" or "product suggestion", new users were gained or "old" ones temporarily reactivated. After that, interest waned again until the next event!
One more look back ... of the selected "godfathers of the week" such as "shibby", "anabah", "flowerhas", "Bowman", "Tapio", "lesmoulins", etc., only the last "pseudonym" can be found permanently on Migipedia, but under a different name.
Greetings Istanbul / lesmoulins

Thanks to Istanbul for the contribution to the discussion.
If the problem was:
Quote: "At that time period the platform was bombarded by contributions without meaningful and useful content, then in my opinion a bonus system would only weaken Migipedia and not strengthen it, as more "junk" would be delivered." ....then you would simply have to combine the bonus program with quality criteria (e.g.
quality rating by a jury or reactions by other participants, etc.).
Instead of cash vouchers, Cumulis points could also be credited as bonuses.
The wider use has already taken place according to previous experience. Wider use leads to greater awareness. There are solutions for quality, so I think the idea is a good one.
Hello everyone,
I really like Migipedia the way it is.
Activities such as searching for the name of a product or testing products are great fun and certainly attract a lot of new members. - But, as Istanbul already mentioned, many of these "new" users quickly vanish into thin air. Such campaigns usually only work for a short time. Users who are really interested in Migipedia will stay on the platform even if there are no such campaigns for a long time ;)
So the whole thing is not just a question of promotions and bonus programs, but also depends on the attitude of each individual user... Some people prefer to be active when there is something to be won, others write posts completely voluntarily and without anything in return, and still others post once and then never again, etc.
If you could "only" win Cumulus points instead of vouchers, the prerequisite would be that everyone has a Cumulus card. - And this is certainly not the case.
What I like about Migipedia is that you can openly express your opinion about products here. For this very reason, Migipedia should not "mutate" into a platform where the only aim is to gain as much as possible. - In the end, this only leads to chaos full of spam and unnecessary contributions.
I think it would be unfair if (once again) only Cumulus points collectors could benefit. I (no Cumulus card, no children, not yet a senior citizen) already fall through the cracks when it comes to discounts. That doesn't have to be the case here.

I think it's good that everything on Migipedia is voluntary and there is no bonus program, so I don't feel obliged to write. The best reward from Migipedia is the reintroduction of Maxi-Mixi-Lutschter, the new Blevita Gruyere and the pure coconut yoghurt.

*just wanted to express her boundless sympathy for trixvi. Great cuddle for those who fall through the cracks :-)*
The incentives have their appeal, but they really do tempt you to make contributions that the world doesn't need. The machine can hardly judge which contributions are of added value and which are not. It will probably be difficult to create something clever and fair.
What if users could nominate someone as Migipedia user of the month and they would then receive something?
Or a certain group regularly receives products to test (as has already happened.
@trixvi. I have a family, children etc. and benefit from many campaigns. I'm just slowly but surely getting tired of the flood of coupons. Nettonetto, so a little cheaper. back to the roots would be the future.
