When the Strudel still existed, the sales figures were looked at.
Now we are finding out how much feedback comes back from the stores, via the infoline, Facebook, Twitter and Migipedia. So far, however, the leek strudel has only been a topic on Migipedia and, with the small number of customers who want the product back, unfortunately not enough weight for a reintroduction.

I check almost every time I go shopping to see if it's available again, because it was just so delicious and I've missed it so much for years!!! :-(

I am also one of those who miss it and would be happy about the reintroduction of the "normal" leek strudel, the one with feta is no substitute ?
If I had known that it would be taken out of the range, I would have hoarded a huge load of it in my freezer beforehand!!! ?

Which leek strudel is meant exactly?
Can you tell us the brand and when it was in the range? If you still know what the packaging looked like, that would be great.
There is currently only an Alnatura cheese and leek tarte flambée in the frozen range, so I'm not sure that's what you mean.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it anymore. but the packaging was very similar:
just with leek and vegetarian. was sooooo delicious!

We searched very hard for the leek strudel back in November 2013 and unfortunately couldn't find any pictures. Not even on "codecheck(dot)info" where we found many more.

The swirl is no longer in our database either.
However, the experts certainly know which one is meant. We will be happy to pass on to them that you miss the leek strudel so much and would like it back. It is unlikely that we will reintroduce it - but who knows, maybe a similar product will come along one day:-)

I can well remember the leek strudel that also had diced bacon in it. I remember when I was about 13 years old, it came into the range and I loved it. It's a shame that it was removed from the range due to sales figures. It was in the range for at least 20 years
