A question mark would be enough ;-) Migros doesn't answer any faster because of that. But I understand your frustration... Did you mean this one? https://produkte.migros.ch/kreuzkuemmel-ganz#availability According to the store locator, it's still available (at least in my area).

No, just normal cumin. Cumin is something completely different.............

Coop usually has normal caraway seeds

It's not about that, it's about Migros simply throwing out a normal spice that is often used and is standard in the kitchen.
https://migipedia.migros.ch/en/106205900000 In the questions about Alnatura caraway, it says that the classic one in the jar was taken out in April because it "didn't work" in the jar. But the Alnatura one stays. Klaaaaar. Migros own brand out - Alnatura in. It's funny that we've always had Migros caraway since I was a child and friends always had the jar on the table for raclette. Always exactly the same. Everyone bought exactly the same caraway seeds. But it wasn't enough.
What a shame, I don't want Alnatura.

This is apparently the "new" Migros strategy... I miss many products at Migros; I just buy them elsewhere now...

Somehow I can hardly imagine that the classic caraway in a jar wouldn't have worked... Although I do wonder about a number of products that Migros has taken out of its range with this "excuse"...

I just don't have time to go to x number of shops..... and I'm mad at Migros. Everyone complains and Migros smiles at us....

I also don't have the time or inclination to go shopping in so many stores because you can no longer buy everything in Migros. But that's the way it is, either you as a customer go shopping somewhere else and then have the products you want, or you don't and then just don't have those products. You can write down your frustration here as long as you like, Migros doesn't care, I'm sorry to say; we are far too unimportant, apart from that, as long as no more than 50% of the "loyal" customers leave and this is reflected in Migros' sales/profit figures, Migros does what it wants or throws out products as it sees fit... Get over it, as sorry as I am.

It's possible that caraway in a jar had such poor sales figures because people couldn't find it among all the trendy and increasingly popular spice mixes. I'd like to see Migros continue to offer the basic ingredients for cooking and baking. Perhaps low demand can be met by a new "Endangered Migros products" section in the Migros magazine before the products are discontinued altogether...
