Seed bread - THE Migros classic for me. I grew up with it and miss it sorely despite the large selection of new grain breads.
Graham bread, the classic, has also disappeared. Graham bread is better than all the new trendy breads.
Why does Migros have to "clean up" its tried and tested products?

However, in order to keep our range up to date and adapt it to the needs of most customers, such decisions cannot be avoided. However, I can assure you that we always take care to remove products from our range that are no longer so popular. I am very sorry that one of your favorite breads, graham bread, has been removed from the range.

I will always remember my grandmother's graham bread. I therefore also like graham bread very much.

Yes, the delicious breads! The semi-white St. Gallen bread has also disappeared, only the dark one is still available, but it's not as "addictive" as the light one. Even a Migros saleswoman for the bread department confessed to me that she misses this bread so much that she goes to Coop because it's still available there. All the good old things are disappearing, maybe if you call them retro they'll come back ???

I agree, I especially wish for a real graham bread or, even better, very small graham rolls - wholemeal without unnecessary frills. We used to buy these mini graham rolls and graham bread in the "Tante-Emma Lädeli", which no longer exists. It would be great if Migros would bring back "tried and tested" bread recipes.

I miss the super tasty graham bread too! It's a great pity that Migros lets tried and tested products disappear completely and then brings out trendy products that are disappointing in terms of quality when you know how good the product was before. Sometimes improvements are needed. But in certain areas - such as bread - the classics should simply remain. The croissant will not be removed and then another puff pastry introduced as an alternative.
Is there any news on whether graham bread will be back in the range soon?

I miss the graham bread too!
But not just in Migros, but in general!
I still remember my apprenticeship! In the village bakery where I trained, we used to bake "a siech voll" of graham bread every day!
Unfortunately, graham bread is practically nowhere to be found anymore, it has generally disappeared!
The recommended bread is quite good, but it's not Graham!

Thanks for the tip. The problem is simply that graham bread is recommended by nutritionists. With today's-beautiful-weather-or-whatever breads, you can only be sure that it is Volkorn by reading the small print. This is especially true because white bread is sometimes "dyed" dark, or confusingly used with terms such as grains, original spelt etc., which makes hardly any difference to a "real" white bread in terms of nutritional physiology ...
But I understand Migros - the majority of people also want plain bread.
