I feel the same way, the best potato chips. There were two varieties, original cheese only and with ham flavor. Both in an elegant and protective box.
They were made in Switzerland.
For reasons unknown to me, the manufacturer was changed to a company in France.
The pack was then a normal bag as you know it from potato chips and there was only the original variety. Not really a problem.
Now the problems began, the quality ranged from good to rock hard to tasteless. You could find out which ones were which by looking at the date.
I informed Migros and they were able to verify that there were quality problems.
I then bought all the packs with the correct production date, which were good.
A few months later they were taken out of the range. Unfortunately. Please offer them again, this is a gap in the market.

oh yes, the old fine cheese potato chips. There were some that were puffed up and had the shape of a parallelogram. I miss those too.
