Joker Wichtel

Dear Migros. I actually think the Secret Santa and Storymania campaign is really great. My children love the stories and the figures.
But what I find absolutely cheeky is that the Joker Wichtel is only available for purchases of CHF 100 or more. It used to be 50.- or even 60.-. That was still more or less okay. But I think CHF 100 is simply excessive. This is absolutely not Migros-like. What about all the people who don't have a lot of money? They have no chance at all of receiving this Secret Santa. All I can say is: shame on them. Dutti would be turning in his grave.........

Dear Migros and community team
I too think it's a meeeeega shame and was really "shocked" when I read that you can only get this Secret Santa joker if you buy CHF 100.00 or more. ?
At the beginning of all these Mania promotions, as pandemonium wrote, you got 1 joker for purchases of CHF 60.00 or more. (But maximum 1 per purchase, even if the amount of the purchase was e.g. 120.00). This also annoyed a lot of customers and Migros then reacted with further promotions and if you made a purchase for 120.00/180.00, for example, you got 2/3 jokers (maximum 3 per purchase). A big bravo and thank you for that!!!!!
And now with the Wichtel Joker the "dilemma" starts again and the amount for the "free" Joker has even been increased to 100.00 francs (purchase).
Dear Migros, you are annoying the customers and disappointing the children who are eager to collect and would really like to have this joker.
And what if you buy for 200.00 francs? Would there even be 2 Jokers then?
But this amount is far too high and not everyone can afford it.
At 60.00 francs 1 joker and at 120.00/180.00 francs 2/3 jokers (as with the previous promotions) would only be fair and there would be no disgruntled customers and no disappointed/sad children.
Please, dear Migros, reconsider this Secret Santa Joker campaign (also in your interest).
Thank you very much ......

Well. Haven't noticed yet? It's called a marketing strategy. It's not about you coming to Jokers with your normal grocery shopping. We want you to buy all your Christmas presents at Migros.

I also bought some Christmas presents at Migros! But I certainly don't buy them so close to Christmas. Especially as the most popular products (e.g. toys) are already sold out. There are also often too many people in the stores on these days.

This is clearly a marketing strategy, but it should also be well thought out. If you implement the strategy well, you (maybe) win customers, but with this "action" the strategy can also backfire.......(annoyed customers etc.)
And so close to Christmas (December 22 and 23, Friday and Saturday!!!), i.e. at the last minute, most people/customers certainly don't feel like buying presents etc. on a large scale.
Let's see what Migros (the marketing department) has to tell us..........?

When will the Joker Wichtel be available? Thank you

Only on December 22 and 23 and only for purchases of CHF 100 or more!!!

Hello everyone

The Xmas Finn is not a Joker but a Christmas present from Migros.the pastJokers for Fr. 60.-- were each small collector's items which completed a collection. Xmas Finn and his other Secret Santa friends are high-quality figures with radio play elements, which is why the purchase value was set at CHF 100.

We have now also planned two special days for this campaign so that everyone has the opportunity to get their hands on the cute Xmas Finn. Our experience has shown that many customers do their Christmas shopping on these days before Christmas, which is why we have scheduled the promotion for these days.

Best wishes Martina

Dear @Migros-Helpline,

It's a shame that you see this FINN as a Christmas present. I think CHF100 is a bit high so close to Christmas. Many disappointed children will be left behind.

As some of the staff at the till are so nice, I bought two children in my trolley for 19.95 and got NO Secret Santa points! Yes, I know it's not CHF20.
But a "woman" could also leave a 5 straight. Some people will do the same because they only buy for just under a hundred.

Fortunately, there are only 7 elves on the flyer and my boys think there are only 7. But since I have developed the StoryBox for myself since StoryMania with the help of some people from Migipedia, it is no problem to make this story accessible to my boys.

If other readers are interested HERE youcan download all stories (also as MP3).
The superheroes are still in the conversion process but will come soon.

The whole Mysteryshopper etc, should be banned for me. For me, this is only aimed at those who can be fired to save money.

Ultimately, it has nothing to do with customer satisfaction. I'm happy if I like the store, it's clean, tidy and the staff are friendly. But nowadays it's all about saving money and bullying the staff.

"has enough ~1Sfr items at the checkout that you can add" if you can afford it financially, unfortunately not everyone is in a financially "well" situated position and can do this without further ado.

We also have to stick to our budget otherwise there will be money left over at the end of the month.

Since when do you have to invest 100 fr for a Christmas present? Gifts are free with us. Disappointed by this way of thinking... Especially at Christmas, money is tight in many families. Unfortunately, I'll have to disappoint my children, which is a shame.
