Rotten avocados again and again

immer wieder verfaulte Avocados

DSC06742.JPG

Once again I found rotten avocados in Migros. Bought the day before yesterday. You can't tell from the outside. The surprise only comes when you open them. It's annoying when you have to throw almost everything away. Is there really no solution?
Or is the customer just unlucky, he buys and pays, but depending on his luck, he gets garbage or something edible?

Hello@Loxiran

Thank you for your feedback. I'll clarify your questions with our experts and get back to you as soon as possible. as the store layout varies slightly from place to place, it would be helpful to know where you bought the frozen avocados. Can you help me here?

Merci and best regards, Tabi

@Tabi_Migros
I bought it at Migros Winterthur Seen.

By the way, Migros is way ahead of Coop when it comes to frozen avocados!
There are currently no plans to include frozen avocados in the Coop range.

Hello@Loxiran

I have now received feedback from our frozen products department.

1. the avocados should actually be in the frozen berries and fruit section of the frozen food aisle. We have forwarded the input to the relevant store.

2. the processors of our avocados in Hungary are all certified, well equipped for this task and carry out their work in accordance with our strict hygiene guidelines. So you have nothing to worry about in this regard.

Does that help you? If you have any further questions, just let us know!

Best regards, Tabi

You write: "The avocados should actually be in the frozen berries and fruit section of the freezer shelf."
The sweet berries, frozen sweet plums, sweet fruit, etc. were at the top of the frozen food shelf. Under the berries, however, there was a shelf with blocks of ice cream, next to which were avocados.

Berries and ice cream are in the frozen dessert section, and that's not where I think the avocados belong? So it seems that, from Migros' point of view, the avocados were correctly placed next to the ice cream blocks but under the sweet berries/fruits? Although I wouldn't look for them there. From my point of view, I would rather look for the avocados with the peas, broccoli or something like that and not necessarily place them with the desserts?

Hello@Loxiran

I assume that this classification was made because avocados are a type of berry. However, I can well understand your objection and will raise your concerns again with those responsible. Thank you for your constructive input! Best regards, Tabi

Unfortunately, a very harmful product for humans, animals and the environment, due to transportation, chemicals used in cultivation, etc. I don't need and don't want such things! As I cannot and will not identify with such a Migros policy, I will also avoid ALL other Migros products as best I can! To be honest, I wish Migros in its current form would go under! It's a pity that Migros puts capitalism first! I wish that people, animals and the environment would be harmed less by Migros products!

I honor your philosophy. However, you should look into karma (and I'm not talking about the Coop brand). What you wish on others falls back on you. Feeling exalted and wishing doom on others doesn't go together. Something to meditate on, isn't it?

Besides, the thread about rotten avocados is absolutely the wrong place to vent your frustration. I'm not wishing Migros doom, but rather the wisdom to graciously delete your entry (and my reply).

@pacast

Who is this statement directed at?

To Ivan92...his comment came across a bit weird to me.

"Since I cannot and will not identify with such a Migros policy, I will also avoid ALL other Migros products as much as possible!" I particularly like "avoid as much as possible"! Either you stand behind your opinion and ALWAYS avoid Migros and not just "as best you can" or you admit to yourself that you are like a flag in the wind and not consistent.....and wishing someone or something's downfall is not a sign of foresight. After all, there are 100,000 people working at Migros who you would put out on the street with a doomsday wish! So much for what you wish for people.... let us help you.
