I miss a line at Migros for people who want to lose weight

Ich vermisse bei der Migros eine Linie für Menschen die abnehmen möchten

Migros doesn't have a line for people who want or need to lose weight. There used to be the Leger line. Personally, I think the range could be expanded. With calorie information and also offers for stressed working people who don't always have the time or inclination to cook at home for the next day. In medium-sized Migros, I miss the option of buying something healthy at lunchtime with calorie information and something that doesn't make me too tired in the afternoon. In other words: protein, vegetables and few carbohydrates and no unnecessary sugar. And no artificial sugar if possible. How do you experience this? Or is my perception not quite right?

Yes, many people miss Léger. I also miss the WW line from Coop. Demand would be 100% there, it's all a question of marketing and a well-chosen light range. Please revive Léger with lots of new products!

I remember all the super Léger (formerly Slimline) products so well. They were simply amazing and very popular. It's incomprehensible that they were constantly removed for no real reason. Shelves with the products were often out of stock, the light protein bread was even sold out before lunchtime...........and then it simply disappeared with the excuse that it wasn't well received..... I wish all the products were back. And I am convinced that they would be more in demand than ever....

The demand would certainly be there. But now everyone is buying high protein and vegan, it's the trend. SlimLine or Léger also tasted good, but the price wasn't too high. High Protein is completely overpriced and has a very unique taste.

I can only agree with that. The high protein yogurts are not liquid enough for my taste. And I also find their taste rather unfamiliar - in addition to the fact that the price has been adjusted upwards ;-)

Well, for weight loss, the high protein things are usually better than some Leger products. You don't need special products to lose weight. There are actually enough products, but it always depends on how you exercise and what you eat. The advantage of Leger is that it often has a very low fat content...

Don't mention the light protein bread from Léger, otherwise I'll cry :-(... I loved! this bread, but it was hard to get and really constantly sold out. Migros simply must bring this protein bread back with the exact old recipe, please!

Migros could easily sell many of the former Léger products under high protein at a normal price if it were a matter of marketing. I mean, the Léger ice cream had more protein than some ice cream sold as high protein low sugar. The same with cheese.

I would like to point out that I am currently in the process of reducing my body weight and I don't miss such a line because I can eat ANYTHING I want. You just have to watch the quantity. If you are serious about the subject, you know how much of everything and don't need an extra line of products. What's more, these products are rarely really intended for such a diet anyway. And ready meals (except perhaps salads) are completely out of place in a conscious diet anyway ;-)

You can argue about fat, but the light products from Migros usually have or had little or no added sugar. It's better for my blood sugar level if I only eat a little added sugar, otherwise it obviously goes crazy. And your teeth also thank you if you don't just spoon up over-sweetened yogurts and ice creams (yes, yes, natural yogurt with fruit, but some people want their light chocolate yogurt back!) The protein-calorie ratio of low-fat products is also much better, which is particularly important for people with a higher protein requirement.

I find the high protein products totally superfluous, it's just a good marketing stunt because it's trendy at the moment...
