I also have problems with the audio box.... I was able to install and open the program, but the only thing I can use on the program is the language selection. The rest is shifted and not "clickable" at all. Could it be that the program is not fully developed (programming error).
I think the basic idea is great and it would be great if the bug could be fixed as soon as possible - for the sake of the children!

There is already a Hörbox Hilfe geht nicht entry
I was able to load the program and when I plug in the box via USB it is displayed but not connected in the Storymania program!
What can I do?
I think I'll exchange the box tomorrow, but I think the problem will persist!
My daughter is sooooooo disappointed and I'm annoyed!

I bought the box today, connected it to my MAC, loaded the program and the stories too. Everything worked perfectly. Then I turn on the box and my boys put the first figure on it...nothing happens, then we tried the next figure...also nothing.
Then I connected the box to my MAC again and the following message appears: "The inserted media could not be read by this computer." I can ingorize it, then nothing happens / I can eject the box, but that doesn't help me either.
What can I do now? Can I initialize the box and delete the contents? Or is the box then unusable (as it is now!)?

It doesn't work for us either. We now have the 2nd box and it doesn't work either. I can't download anything to the box. I have only downloaded it completely. I'm returning this 2nd box too, but then I want my money back! CHF 39 was far too much for this!
Great idea, but unfortunately it's no fun anymore!

There is a thread which contains even more about the HörBox and is also being used a lot.
You can find it HERE, you will come directly to page 3, where you will find a ZIP file which can be downloaded and unpacked directly onto the MHB, then all stories should work.
Prerequisite is that the PC/MAC recognizes the box as external memory.

We had the same problem with one of two audio boxes we bought.
In our case, it helped to rename the recognized memory of the audio box from "NO NAME" to "MIGROS-BOX". The application seems to pay attention to this and recognize that an audio box and not just any USB memory is connected.
