Halo Top Ice Cream

Halo Top Ice Cream

In the USA, Whole Foods and some other chains such as Ralphs are currently selling the Halo Top (low calorie) ice cream brand. The good thing is that the products are all

low calorie
high protein
low sugar
natural ingredients

are...

A whole pack has about 240 to 360 calories, which is pretty good for ice cream.
I would welcome it if Migros could include the brand in its range, or introduce it next year.

Since Coop has not introduced it and Migros will never do it either,

I will write to Spar and Manor Food this weekend... maybe one of them will carry it...

Even Ben Jerries has been doing something like this lately...

Ben and Jerrie's Moophoria is a rip-off in my opinion. The nutritional profile (protein-sugar-fat ratio) is poor, it just seems to be more frothed ice cream. I'd prefer Léger or You, the nutritional values suit me better. But more choice of flavors for You and Léger would be really great: hazelnut, caramel, marzipan chocolate, stracchiatella, cappuchino ;-P...!!!!

So, Coop has once again introduced a new low cal high protein ice cream from Chiefs. You can google the varieties and values online, Caramel is included ;-D. Unfortunately only large tubs and rather rich lollipops, so I'm still stocking up on the small 100ml You Ice Cream Kübeli.

Det joke: 2 years ago Migros had 2 types of high protein ice cream!!! But more casual ice cream would be enough for me.

Oh God, the high protein Chiefs Glacé is also delicious :-P. Unfortunately I've only found the large tubs in the Coop so far, but supposedly Coop Prontos should also offer 180ml tubs. Couldn't Migros also offer the sugar-free high protein Chiefs in these small cups in addition to the You cups? Salted caramel in particular would be great.

Yes, I agree. That would be great, Migros would be one of the first stores in Switzerland to have them in its range, apart from that I already know a few people who would buy them;-)

Now I have to look out for the Chiefs Salted Caramel....

Chiefs Salted Caramel should be available in all reasonably large Coop stores in the large tub, the small tubs (yuhu!) should be available in all Coop Pronto stores throughout Switzerland in the course of this week, according to Chiefs. :-) Migros should follow suit.

Yes, I'm happy if a store has it. Whether it's Coop, Migros, Aldi, Lidl - I don't care, it's something I don't buy every day.
