In the newly remodeled Migros store in 2540 Grenchen, more and more affordable own brands are missing in favor of expensive branded goods. As I'm not a brand-name person, I'm forced to shop more at Aldi and Lidl. It's a shame because the renovation was anything but sustainable, as the store was still very good. Now a lot has changed for the worse.

After searching the Internet, practically all the products are out of stock and have been for at least 3 weeks. The M-Budget wet food is also mostly missing or there are only a few pieces available. Selina wet food also used to disappear. The same problem with Whiskas in the Coop. Habitual animals like cats have a problem with this. It can't be a lack of raw materials, as there is plenty of Felix, Vital Balance and Sheba. And now there's a new brand: Edgar Cooper. With current and future inflation, not everyone can or wants to buy more and more expensive food. In the past, M-Budget Müesli was also missing for a long time, so I just bought the existing product from Aldi. M-Budget Kiwi has also been missing since the renovation of Migros 2540 Grenchen. I think that the profit margins are higher for branded goods, and M has been trying to prioritize profits and sales for some time now, to the detriment of providing the population with good-quality goods at low prices, as in Dutti's day.
