I know an acquaintance at Migros who told me that the Swiss food bank, for example, looks very closely at what it takes away and is very "picky". And then it's the evil Migros that throws the goods away.
It starts with the fruit and vegetable products. Wrapped food lasts longer, but everyone is crying out for plastic-free food. The disadvantage is again: more food waste.
What's more, we consumers are the ones who are very "fussy". Everyone cries out about fruit or vegetables that are not in line with standards, but 90% of us marvel at every tomato and apple from all sides and only then take them away.
About the sticks:
Well meant, but I find the price premium too steep, and especially with spices there are hardly any lumps.

@Nina_Migros you don't seem to have the slightest idea who you're writing to. I'm not asking you for sympathy or anything else.
Yes, I was there everywhere Arwo Wettingen, Gärtnerhaus Meistetschwanden and also Wohnheim Bethlehem. Last but not least at HEKS Aarau. Now, after 18 years, I'm finally without support and off the track.
So much for "tell these organizations" and every "association", so that's probably meant a little mockingly. You can really be glad that you didn't have to have this experience, if you had, you wouldn't be putting me down like this and would understand it halfway. Of course you can't do anything in the office with a phone and internet connection, I totally understand. The evil technology.
You don't have to do housework, I never asked you to, but you can also send advertising emails. And you can also send flyers to every household. But if only someone at the top (not you) had a heart and didn't just think about Provit, then they would have sent out letters a long time ago to make it possible. Or by e-mail.

Hello @Mystery1978. That was in no way meant to be mocking. Just read my post again in a friendly, well-intentioned tone, and not immediately assuming that people are trying to attack you.
I was serious about telling them. It was meant to be a challenge/motivation and not mockery. I say "these organizations" and "associations" because I don't know who calls themselves an organization, who calls themselves an association, who calls themselves anything else. I also don't know the exact guidelines that the cooperatives have. And yes, imagine if I started collecting such information, then I might soon be doing nothing else. Honestly, no, I don't have time for that. It's not my job. And yet, I would want to do it. But I have to do my job and organizing that the cooperatives can hand over their food is not one of my tasks. That's why I said: if you already know these people, why don't you tell them, then at least they'll know about it and can do something about it and hopefully benefit from it.
You have no idea who I am, so let's leave it with the experiences that someone seems to have or not have and who deserves how much sympathy and compassion.
I won't say any more about this now, everything necessary has been said.
Have a nice day. Nina

It's good that you don't want to say any more, the discussion with you is really getting too stupid for me. Think what you want about me and build your own world. I always thought the Comunity Theam was neutral and not about calling others hateful. The rest of the team doesn't do that. Think about how you treat others, then I would certainly change too.

Well Mystery, I don't want to attack you, but sometimes you overdo it a little in your choice of words and your expression.
I'm sure that both of you (Nina and you) have the same goal: Less food waste.
But unfortunately it is often the way we would like it to be as customers, but unfortunately it is not. Those organizations and associations also have to report to Migros on their own initiative.
And some of these organizations also need to change their attitude (the Schweizer Tafel in particular has room for improvement).

It would be easy to counteract the problem of food waste if all stores were to take part in too good too go. But since, according to Migros, each cooperative decides individually, I think Migros will have to continue to deal with the criticism of food waste. Why not promote projects like too good too go, make them better known and introduce them in all stores? That would be a huge sign!

Please stop talking about CLUBS Young marksmen are in a club, gymnasts are in a club. I'm not talking about them. I think you mean organizations. I apologize to @Nina_Migros and make a deal never to call me "hateful" again. Then, despite all resistance, the topic is history for me. If I go overboard with my choice of words again next time, I'll be sure to be reasonable and apologize again.
Have a nice afternoon @Mystery1978

But is that also available in sticks? Is that what we're talking about here?
Our neighbor would also be the mother of a Green politician, by the way. SVP advertises savory, I'm laughing my ass off.
Do they also come in sticks? Sorry, my actual question.
