Are the freeze-dried herbs new to the range or have they been overlooked so far? Parsley, chives, red onions - I really like them! It just has a different taste, the question is whether it's dried or freeze-dried and which herbs have a better taste. Will there be more freeze-dried herbs in the future? Like this salad herb mix, will there also be a freeze-dried version? Greetings

Hello Sonarius, thank you for your inquiry. The herbs are managed regionally by the cooperatives. Please let me know your purchasing region so that I can enquire with those responsible. Best regards, Tabea

My region is Basel, which is a real pity that certain products (especially not fresh ones) are sometimes only available regionally.

Hello, is there any new information yet? I would also be interested to know whether the selection is to be expanded. My purchasing region is also Basel. LG

Hi Sonarius and lifeofkai, thank you for your patience. These herbs have been around for about 2 years. Freeze-dried herbs can be distinguished in the rack by a simple trick. The conventional herbs, which are freeze-dried, have a light green lid. Normally dried herbs, on the other hand, have a dark green lid. In the case of organic spices, the lid of freeze-dried products is whitish. There are no plans to switch to other freeze-dried herbs in the near future. However, we are constantly reviewing our range and adapting it to the latest requirements and trends. We are therefore happy to take on board your wish to find more of these spices on the shelves of your stores. @Sonarius, we understand your disappointment about certain differences in the product ranges in the various regions. However, as each cooperative designs its own regional range, we cannot avoid such differences. Kind regards, Chloe

Hello, that's practical with the lid colors, so the range is bigger than I thought! That's great, there's no need for any expansion. greetings

Hello, Chloe I thought of something that would be great if Migros could offer this, I know this from other manufacturers or stores, namely: freeze-dried soup vegetables! also in a large spice jar such as oregano simply with finely chopped soup vegetables, i.e. carrots, onions, celery, possibly peppers, cabbage? Oregano simply with finely chopped soup vegetables, i.e. carrots, onions, celery, leeks, possibly peppers, cabbage? this is quite practical for a "topping" on soups as well as in soup and when sautéing for gravy etc. A good flavor booster. Please pass this on as an idea, maybe there is interest in it.

I didn't know that there were freeze-dried soup vegetables. But it sounds great, so I'd be in favor of it, it would certainly be a great product.

Hello Sonarius, thank you for your interesting input - I immediately informed the specialist department. There is no such soup vegetable in this sense yet. We have these red onions, for example, which are freeze-dried: https://produkte.migros.ch/zwiebeln-rot. We also have the article VeggiePur https://produkte.migros.ch/bio-veggiepur-fruchtigscharf, which might interest you. Best regards, Chloe

Yes, there are soup vegetables, or soup greens, but not in Migros or in Switzerland in general? I know the onions, they are quite good and the organic VeggiePur is interesting, but spicy, it's not suitable for everything, but I'll give it a try. Thanks for the info and for passing it on.
