Every year, thousands of tons of high-quality fruit and vegetables are not even put on the market simply because they have visual defects.

Nature only grows according to the template and standards with a lot of poison, artificial fertilizer and a large mountain of waste.

If I don't have the opportunity to have my own vegetable garden, I would at least be happy to find the products at my trusted retailer.
Personally, I would like to feel nature in the fruit and vegetable section and not the artificial standardized products from industrial agriculture.

In the meantime, there are certainly enough people who are tired of this waste and would welcome the discovery of a two-legged carrot in the vegetable section.
By buying produce with visual defects, we should also pay tribute to the farmers' hard work.

Apart from that, I am only too happy to stroll through the Migros vegetable department, as there is already a good selection of organic products and a varied range ;).

PS: Coop has launched a similar initiative with its "ünique" line, but apparently the program is only available in the largest stores.
