I miss the Frosty ice cream. It was available in three flavors: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. In a cardboard cup. I've never found a similar ice cream since. It would be great if Migros could bring them back :-)

I suppose the Frosty isn't like that this year either, and... probably not anymore? Maybe I was just being held back @migros and the topic that just had the promise in it was deleted because of that?😥
Hello Bodenseeknusperli, thank you for the reminder. I checked with the specialist department and received some exciting feedback - the successor to Frosty Soft Glace is apparently our Soft Ice (https://www.migros.ch/de/search?query=Soft%20Ice&filter.brand=soft-ice). The former cardboard cup has now been replaced by a transparent cup. New flavors have also been added in the meantime. I hope you like this ice cream as much as the former Frosty Soft Ice cream. Best regards, Matteo

Huh!? Are you kidding me now? First of all, it's been around for yaaaears and so far it's never been called something like "Yes, this is the Frosty 2.0". Moreover, there is zero comparison, it's something completely different, it's like "Where did Leger chocolate yoghurt go? - Yes hey try Leger strawberry, good luck Migros" or "Where's the feta gone? - It's no longer there, but hey why don't you try vegan cheese" - such nonsensical suggestions ... and anyway, I tried them a long time ago and they taste bad. Very, very bad. Too expensive and stupid packaging. The Chübeli ice creams from Aldi and Lidl are far better. So then you've just fooled me with the promise from a good 3 years ago and your statement that you're working on a real new Frosty. Why? Who does that? Saying there is none is not as disappointing as finding out what you were told was never true. Well, that's another way to keep customers quiet and just make something up, I'll remember that. Thank you.
Hello Bodenseeknusperli, thank you very much for your feedback. I can well understand your disappointment! I checked with the specialist department again. Frosty Soft Glace was in the range for a long time until it was replaced by the current Soft Ice in the mid-00s. Recently there was a project to bring Frosty Soft Glace back into the range. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to use the original recipe. Attempts to get as close as possible to the original recipe were unsuccessful. The decision was therefore taken to discontinue the project. I'm sorry I don't have any better news for you. It was never our intention to create false expectations. Kind regards, Matteo

Why couldn't the original recipe be used? Was it not developed by M-Industry and therefore not owned by them?

Hello Nachtspalter, thank you for the question. The original recipe no longer meets the legal requirements. It contained additives which, almost 30 years later, may no longer be used. We are therefore unable to use the original recipe. Kind regards, Matteo

Hello, yes they were delicious. I recently bought a Denner own brand Cornet, the chocolate reminded me a lot of the Frosty. Greetings and e guete ;-)

Hello dear Migros team. Is there any new information on this anyway? I can understand that the original recipe must not be used... but surely there are other options? My memory from childhood may be deceiving me, but I think that the chocolate in the "Gelato Rahmglace Schokolade & Vanille" tastes very similar to the Frosty Softice.

Hello Drangue, thank you for your input regarding the taste. The specialist department was happy to take it on board. Kind regards, Chloe
