Hello, I have noticed that this product has been or is being discontinued. Can you recommend an alternative with the same properties? Starch level 6 out of 10 - acidity 3 out of 5 with many thanks

Agree. Noblesse Exquisito Oro was the only good instant coffee I found in retail. It was a reason to visit Migros, because it was the only one sold there.
It's weird that such a terrible instant coffee as Nescafe still exists in both Coop and Migros, while the only other alternative has disappeared from the shelves.
Noblesse Exquisito Oro was from Haco Gümligen CH. The new Migros Gold comes from abroad. It has nothing to do with Noblesse Exquisito Oro anymore. My friend is still desperately searching for an edible alternative. It's just sad that Migros claims it's still the same product, just in new packaging...

No, no, Migros says that the recipe has changed, but not in the customer's favor 😂😂
The recipe has now been adapted to customer preferences 🤦♀️ The only question is, which customers?

I totally agree with you, wco. Removing Noblesse from the range is a disaster! We haven't found any alternatives yet either. The only halfway (and I mean halfway!) acceptable replacement for us is "La Semeuse," maybe that helps. Incidentally, Haco still produces its own brands, but according to direct information, unfortunately not the Noblesse recipe...
@Migros, how could you do this, and which customer requests did you listen to, or was the corresponding response created in the marketing department?

Hello highway3, thank you for your inquiry. We have adjusted the recipe for our instant coffee to offer a product that meets current market conditions and trends. We are sorry that you do not like the new recipe ☹. We take the honest feedback of our customers very seriously and pass it on directly to the relevant department, which carries out the necessary checks—we have also taken your feedback into account. Best regards, Lea

The substitute coffee tastes horrible!!!!

I would like to echo all the previous complaints.
The new product tastes awful!
Which customer requests does Migros actually listen to?
My stash of Exquisito Noblesse is almost gone, and I’m also looking for a replacement. Has anyone found anything yet?

It’s really interesting that Migros uses the exact same boilerplate text over and over again in its responses, no matter what product is being discussed.
I do wonder what exactly the “current market conditions and trends” were that led to the discontinuation of Exquisito Noblesse. To put it simply, I’d say that customers want a product that tastes good and isn’t overpriced. The new products are cheap, sure, but judging by the reviews, the quality and taste don’t seem to be winning anyone over (except Migros itself). To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how seriously our feedback is being taken. I’ve seen countless threads, comments, and reviews criticizing the new recipe, while the old one was extremely popular. What else does it take for our feedback to be taken seriously? Though I do wonder if a return to the old product is even possible anymore, since they’ve surely signed contracts with the new producer in Germany (which guarantee a maximum profit margin).

Unfortunately, no :-( I'm trying out all kinds of products... Funnily enough, I've already seen a few reviews on Galaxus saying, "Looking for a replacement for Exquisito, couldn't find one in product xy." The Exquisito just had such a great value for money. Especially the products from the popular coffee brands (e.g., Illy, La Semeuse, etc.) quickly get very expensive—and they don’t even taste any better... oh, I’m heartbroken :-(

In Germany, the Migros subsidiary "tegut" sold an instant coffee under its own brand that tasted just like Noblesse. Unfortunately, tegut is currently being wound up. However, you may still be able to get your hands on some remaining stock.

Unfortunately, that’s not a long-term solution either :-(
