Just under a week ago, I bought new shoes from Dosenbach and of course paid for them. I've been in and out of Migros, Dosenbach and the like a few times and nothing happened... And today...
... Today I was about to go shopping when suddenly the alarm went off. I realized that I was the trigger and went to a checkout. Fortunately, the lady was very friendly and scanned me from top to bottom.
Then she asked me if I had bought any new clothes. - She already suspected it was because of my shoes. ... Then I had to take my shoes off and she deactivated the anti-theft device again. Then I was allowed to put my shoes back on...
The sales clerk said that this anti-theft device can sometimes recharge... =:-(
The whole thing was really embarrassing as everyone looked at me as if I was eating children :(( But now, looking back, I can laugh about it.
But now I hardly dare to go shopping when I have these shoes on... After a quick search on Google, I came across similar cases involving Dosenbach shoes :(
Is there anything I can do about it, apart from handing the shoes in at the information desk and going shopping barefoot? :P And how is it possible for this fuse to recharge?

Dosenbach Ochsner, the largest shoe retailer in Switzerland, should definitely be able to solve this problem!

I know your problem, but with C&A dresses. There you can simply cut off the safety catch which is incorporated into the label. Why don't you go back to Dosenbach and ask the cashier to unlock the shoes again, maybe that will help?

Thanks for your replies. I went to Dosenbach this afternoon and everything was fine. There was no beeping when I came in, nor when I went out. The salesman also confirmed that the fuse is deactivated.
I then took the plunge and went shopping again at Migros with the shoes. It was a bad feeling walking through next to the alarm systems. But it stopped beeping.
According to Google, Rfid chips have recently been built into shoes from Dosenbach, Reno and the like. But how these things can recharge after deactivation remains a mystery to me.

I was able to glean one thing from the articles, especially the one in the "Landbote". For trouble-free shopping, the Winterthur area should be avoided on a large scale.
I once heard that you should put the affected watches in the microwave for a short time, as the radiation can irreparably damage the chip. Can anyone confirm this or warn me about it?
Are they actually compatible with the RFFID sensors on smartphones? You could use them to check the fuses.
I would not deactivate an item of clothing with an RFID in the microwave: The metal (in the chip) gets hot and ugly marks can push through. Even if the chip is then definitely dead, the clothes probably are too!
