The "Frey Lait extra fin" chocolate bar (an excellent product by the way) contains 50% sugar according to the nutritional indications. Would it be possible to reduce the amount of sugar while keeping the same recipe (typically between 30-40% instead of 50%)? Or why not offer a top-of-the-range tasting bar containing very little sugar, like "Suprême Noir extra" but in a milk version?

There's a bit of a misunderstanding here: I'd simply like a good chocolate with *less sugar* (at a reasonable price) and typically not with sweeteners. Here are some examples of chocolate with significantly less sugar: -Milk chocolate Amedei Tuscany (~35% sugar) https://amedei.it/en/bars/3-toscano-brown-5311 -White chocolate Amedei Tuscany (19 or 38% sugar*) https://amedei.it/en/bars/1-toscano-white-5331 *19 g per 100 g according to the 50 g packaging, but this is probably a mistake.

1st ingredient in the composition of chocolate: sugar! It's no longer chocolate. Your alternatives don't have to contain sweeteners. It's just the sweet stuff that we don't like. Sugar is cheaper than cocoa. Getting us used to sweetness is an economic strategy. But it's not to everyone's taste!

Otherwise, there are some interesting products at Globus, such as Michel Cluizel or Amedei Tuscany, but they are often overpriced ... and all imported. It's a real shame. Good advice. Thanks MrZ. It's a shame because Frey makes good chocolate, but they've increased the sugar doses a bit too much in a few years. The dark is delicious.
