In the M-Restaurant the drink costs Fr. 3.50.
In the Coop restaurant Fr. 2.95.
Why this price difference?

Interesting point of view, you take any product for which you personally would like to pay less and argue with customer loyalty... I would say that Migros already offers enough discounts for families everywhere.

Hello @Koenigspython
Thank you very much for your inquiry about the price difference for drinks in Migros restaurants. The restaurants are managed independently by the Migros cooperatives. In order to forward the question to the responsible cooperative, I would need to know which restaurant it is?
Kind regards

"I would also find it more logical to charge Fr. 3.30 for everything, if only because of the children and the elderly, for whom caotina and latte is simply more digestible than café creme.... I only want to limit myself to these 3 basic drinks and not include the more expensive latte macchiato etc." and "I would welcome it - regardless of Coop - if these 3 drinks also had the same price", but this is precisely about standardizing these three drink prices. The examples are equivalent to this, and I wasn't talking about all products, but about the standardization of a specific product group - just like the three hot drinks.
Be that as it may, this thread is neither about price standardization nor about pricing within Migros.

@KurumiNo, Migros' pricing is none of my business - you're right (...even if I am a co-owner ;-)) )... but to the initial inquiry:
In the M-Restaurant the drink costs Fr. 3.50.
In the Coop restaurant Fr. 2.95.
Why this price difference?
Yes, why ? Coop simply has a uniform price for these 3 drinks I mentioned - 2.95
If you now take the most expensive one from Migros, it just results in this difference... But never mind, I couldn't care less.
@marcoti
So, I'm surprised that you're still asking for an answer to the initial inquiry, because in my opinion @Kurumiexplained this verywell in his first comment .
Unless you are explicitly asking for a statement from Migros...

@AlMiDeCoLi One more time in a row: For me it's done and I don't expect a statement from Migros here.... but I assume that it will be read.
I copied the initial request because of the accusation of being off-topic - this appears to be because I didn't write down all my thoughts on this Coop/Migros comparison.
You may not be aware of it, but I immediately noticed this unit price of 2.95 at Coop. If you now compare the most expensive of these 3 Migros individual prices with the Coop unit price, then there is logically a difference that favors Coop. Hence my suggestion to do the same.
You'll laugh, but there are more people than you think who get really upset about the 10 Rp extra price for coffee, but only reveal it to their friends (e.g. say: ... because of such a small splash of milk)Same scenario with the abolition of the "double Thursday" or the 50Rp stamp card discount for M-App users only - it doesn't matter to me because I benefit....
I'm a tactician and don't publicly disclose how many additional Cumulus vouchers I've earned through clever and staggered purchases in the last 2 periods. It only produces envy, experienced in my own circle of acquaintances, especially among data protection gurus ... so I'd rather keep quiet :-))
Something else: @M-Infoline Luisa answered my Twint query to my complete satisfaction and your objection on the subject of Apple Pay / NFC, where you defend the same "Luisa", was worth a Like - she really can't help it.

@marcoti
Now it's clear to me and I can see what you're getting at. You could discuss Migros' pricing policy in a separate thread...

Good morning @Koenigspython, dear community
I hope you had a great Easter time! We are also back in Community Management and have an answer to your question about the price difference of Coatina/Ovo milk. Our cups in the restaurant are larger than those at Coop, which means there is more milk in the cup. This results in a price difference.
Best wishes and have a good start to the week.
