Could you change the type of coffee in the Migros restaurants? The Royal coffee in the restaurants always has a milk flavor, although I let the coffee out of the coffee machine without milk.

Hi Michi2000, what do you mean that coffee without milk still tastes like milk? What kind of Migros restaurants do you go to? I would be happy to pass on your feedback to the responsible Migros cooperative for comment. Kind regards, Sina
I go to Aarau Igelweid, Aarau Bahnhof, Unterentfelden, Suhr and Buchs AG to drink my coffee. Although the coffee comes out of the coffee machine without milk and no milk comes out, the coffee tastes as if it were with milk.
Hello Michi2000, thank you for the information about the restaurant locations. I have forwarded your request to the Migros Genossenschaft Aare. They will consult with the catering department and then inform us accordingly. However, I could well imagine that Bodenseeknusperli's assumption is correct. Thank you in any case for your tip. I will get back to you as soon as I have received an answer. Best regards, Sina

@Michi2000: I would always go to the cashier and report this... I had a case like this recently: I also drink my coffee black and at first nothing is visible because of the foam, as soon as the foam was gone... the coffee wasn't black, but had an indefinable color.
I took it to the cashier and got a replacement. You then have the feeling of a foreign taste... and no coffee enjoyment
I suspect that if these machines are used one after the other when there is a heavy rush: the previous customer with a cappuccino, as mentioned by@Bodenseeknusperli, usually some of the previous customer's coffee with added milk drips into the cup that has already been put down and that's it...
But while we're on the subject of this Café Royal, something else bothers me a lot more: I often have to put the cups back again (especially from the edge of the containers) because I just see a strange shimmer... I understand, it's probably signs of use: the cups are deep, the original coating would be snow-white...
I don't understand why such high cups and an additional snow-white coating - it would be more logical: not so high and a slightly tinted color.
@ Michi2000 : I have just received feedback from the cooperative. As Bodenseeknusperli wrote, we assume that the guest in front of you took a latte or another milk drink. It is possible that a drop of milk fell into your cup - however, we assure you that the milk and the coffee come from two different tubes. The cooperative is keeping an eye on this situation. If your coffee tastes of milk, please contact the staff directly.
@Tessin : Thank you for your contribution. Unfortunately, it is not clear to us which cups are involved. Can you explain your concern in more detail?
Kind regards, Luisa

@M-Infoline Hi Luisa : I'm surprised that you don't know the Cafe Royal cups at Migros Restaurant. They are these:https://www.google.ch/search?q=tassen+royal+migros+restaurant&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjaj6ne9bXgAhVVysQBHft4BA8QsAR6BAgAEAE&biw=1920&bih=937#imgrc=t-iTwA8YhJ-urM:
They are laid out in baskets so 5x6 after the wash cycle and usually stacked - cup inside down. Most people take these cups, turn them over and place them directly under the poorly lit coffee machine.... that's a good thing - then you can't see anything.
Since I once saw certain things inside, I instinctively look more closely into these deep cups and simply notice (or think I notice) that they rarely have such a strange rim on the inside in the middle of the basket.
But I'm not saying that they haven't been washed clean - I'm talking about signs of use, because the cups are always filled in the same way and after a certain amount of time a rim like this is likely to appear.... unfortunately you can see it better with this snow-white than with a tinted inner surface.... and as a coffee connoisseur, you won't blame me if a visible, predetermined rim - caused by the previous drinker - reduces the enjoyment of the coffee somewhat....
But I would never complain about that - I simply serve myself with cups from the inner half and I have noticed that many people still do this... ;-)
Hi Tessin, thanks for the link - now I know which cups are meant ;-) I would be happy to inform the relevant specialist department about your tip. In which cooperative do you drink your coffee? Best regards, Luisa

@M-Infoline Hi Luisa - it's Migros Ostschweiz, but I couldn't say that it's really extremely common in one place, even though I know 6 places where I've been drinking. I also don't see a pre-washing problem (lipstick, coffee grounds on the floor) - perhaps a dosing problem with the washing-up liquid? - and above all I find this pearly white color inside and in the drinking area somewhat unfortunate. These situations can occur in exactly the same way with a served coffee - only you can't see it there because the coffee is already full....
Hello Tessin, thank you for your feedback. I have just informed the Genossenschaft Ostschweiz about your message. Kind regards, Luisa
