Dear Migros
Yesterday I discovered fresh beans from Senegal in the vegetable department.
Migros is going green and importing beans from Senegal. I think that's so wrong; an absolute disgrace!!!
There is an urgent need to stop imports from such distant countries! The range doesn't have to be available all year round. Customers finally need to change their way of thinking!
I hope that my contribution will help to bring about change.

When they're not in season, I either buy frozen beans or dried beans (but only from the market or farmers, because the others come from China)

I also think that's wrong. The responsibility should not be shifted to the customers, because surely more than 80% don't care at all.

Beans from Senegal. Kiwis and apples from New Zealand. Soon chocolate bars from Mars (okay, joke aside). Thanks for the wake-up call. I will be very conscious of the country of origin in future. ... Shaking my head at myself.

Welcome to the club. You'll be amazed at what you find in the vegetable departments. Last time I was there, it was red onions from New Zealand. And the open potatoes from Israel.
