A tried-and-true, affordable product “disappears” at the start of a Cumulus promotion?

Bewährtes & preiswertes Produkt “verschwindet” zu Beginn einer Cumulus-Aktion?

Until July 5, you can earn 20 times the usual Cumulus points on all "pH balance 'soaps'".

Strangely enough, almost at the same time this promotion began, the product “pH balance Soap-Free Bar,” presumably the original product in this truly excellent and useful line, quietly disappeared.

It is simply nowhere to be found. Nowhere. Neither in stores nor online. There are no traces of it online either. - Of course, MIGROS is free to remove products from its range from time to time. But such a fundamental change—especially when they’re running a Cumulus promotion for “all soaps” of this brand—makes you wonder if an affordable top-quality product wasn’t simply meant to die a quiet death in favor of other, more expensive products from the same brand.

Consumer advocates might even consider looking into this matter from a legal perspective. Talk about “advertising, among other things, a popular product that is no longer available in favor of other, more expensive products.”
