Tanja,
The logout procedure obviously has a bug ... it is somehow not programmed correctly: if you log in again, it often only works if you close the page and the tab and call up the Migros homepage again ... then Cumulus and then it works again. It also happens that the account page is opened in the popup window from the login ... then it also only helps ... to close everything and start again from the homepage ... (Firefox latest version)

Hello brainstuff
Thank you for this description. That sounds annoying. I will also pass this information on to the technical department.
Kind regards

Hello@deactivated userand@maripac
According to the technology, the redirection via M-Connect is normal and correct for the system. Normally, however, you should be automatically redirected back to Migipedia. This should not really take long. One problem could be the internet speed. If it is not high enough, the system will struggle to take you directly back to Migipedia and you will be stuck on M-Connect. Unfortunately, we have no control over this.
However, it should not happen that you are sometimes logged in while surfing Migipedia and sometimes not. The technical team is still looking into the problem and trying to solve it.
Best regards

Tanjja,
I have not looked at this login system you are using in detail. But it seems to me in general that this pop-up window for logging in is rather problematic, because it is guaranteed to interfere with any pop-up blockers and similar add-ons ... in the end it is no longer possible to tell who is bothering whom and when. It is also somehow the case that it is not properly saved whether you are logged in or not. For example, if you're logged into your Cumulus account, the Migipedia site doesn't notice that.
The whole thing is not just a problem with the Migros pages, but there are also many other pages that have problems with "logging in".
One of the reasons for this is also that Firefox and other browsers cannot finally create "sub-tabs" ... you log in to Migros, then a sub-tab opens ... and this can then open "sub-tabs" for other pages that depend on the top page ... just like the Windows folder system. Then everything that concerns "MIgros", or is dependent on it, would be found in a tab and its sub-tabs. This would also improve security, because there would no longer be several tabs open somewhere for one topic. You would then have a "Migros" tab with its sub-tabs and when you close it, you would be logged out.

Dear Tanja,
Many thanks to you and the technical team for dealing with this login problem.
After the 'forced visit' to the M-Connect page, I have never been automatically redirected back to Migipedia. When I click back from M-Connect and go to Migipedia again via Google, I am usually able to log in on this subsequent visit. However, I don't think that the problem is related to the internet speed, as (at least for me) logging in to the earlier Migipedia versions worked without any detours and only on this page do such problems occur.

Hello everyone
Thank you for your messages. I'll pass this on to the technical department again. The whole system is relatively complex and it is sometimes difficult to find out exactly where the problems occur - especially from a distance.
@maripacM-Connectis relatively new and aims to connect the various Migros services. Previous versions of Migipedia did not have M-Connect, so there was no detour.
Best regards
Tanja
