Animal Planet Mania - is Migros once again violating competition law?

Animal Planet Mania - verstösst die Migros mal wieder gegen das Wettbewerbsgesetz?

Yesterday I saw an advertisement for the latest Migros promotion "Animal Planet Mania" in the Migros app. Apparently, for every CHF 20 spent, the customer receives a sticker sachet containing 4 stickers. If you find the "Golden Sticker" in it, you also win entry to the zoo for four people. So anyone who shops regularly at Migros can look forward to this new competition. And the rest? Well, according to the Competition Act and the equal opportunities described therein, Migros is also obliged to offer free participation. In the corresponding offer you will therefore find a link with which you can register to take part for free. After entering your e-mail address, telephone number and home address, you will immediately receive an e-mail with a link. If you click on this, an order code is generated, which you then have to enter on the telephone keypad when calling the hotline "044 567 14 69". The 22-digit telephone code received should now be entered in the corresponding field in the web form. After a brief validation, you will then be told immediately whether you have won or not. I think all participants will receive this sentence - without exception!

"Unfortunately you didn't win this time. Maybe it will work next time".

That it won't work next time either is not just a guess, but a clear fact. Anyone can test this by simply entering any x number in the code field. You should now receive a message that the number is incorrect. But the number is not even validated and so the above-mentioned sentence always appears, no matter what number you enter. Dear Migros, this is a clear violation of competition law and a SHIT on the customer! The fact that you obviously don't take competition law very seriously is already shown by the two legally binding judgments in the Migros competitions "Mega Win" and "Die Lose sind los!", in both of which Migros was fined and then promised to do better. See: https://www.srf.ch/.../busse-fuer-migros-wegen-megawin...

As a consumer, I find this development by Migros really worrying. Because the question is, of course, where else are customers being ripped off if they are obviously no longer taking gambling so seriously? ?

Kind regards
A disappointed Migros customer
