Alnatura Switzerland/Migros/LeShop unfortunately not cheaper than in Germany or in the organic store next door
Alnatura-Schweiz/Migros/LeShop leider nicht günstiger als in Deutschland oder im BioLaden nebenan
"If I lower my prices, people will flock to me." This was a thought of Migros founder Gottlieb Duttweiler.
If Dutti were still alive, he would surely consider that organic and natural products should also be affordable for normal earners.
Especially because in Switzerland, compared to Germany, so much is added to the price.
Thanks to the fact that Lavera and other natural/organic cosmetics, shampoos and soap products have also been available in Coop City for some time now, some prices have fallen a little, depending on the product.
But it is a pity that shopping at Alnatura Germany is still around 20 -36% cheaper than shopping at Alnatura Switzerland.
I recently noticed the following price differences:
Product:
Sonett Hand Soap Lavender
1 liter refill bottle
EAN code: 4007547 30280 8
Alnatura organic supermarket Winterthur Grüze
Industriestrasse 11
8400 Winterthur
CHF 15.80, = 30.82% more expensive than in Germany!
The same product in the
Alnatura Bio Super Natur Markt 32 Food retail store
Münzgasse4A
78462 Constance - Old Town
EUR 8.89
(calculated with exchange rate 1.23 = CHF 10.93)
Product:

Hair Wax Natural Wax

EAN 4025089074007
Alnatura organic supermarket Winterthur Grüze
Industriestrasse 11
8400 Winterthur
CHF 9.80, = 19% more expensive than in Germany
The same product in the
Alnatura Bio Super Natur Markt 32 Food retail store
Münzgasse4A
78462 Constance - Old Town
EUR 6.45
(calculated with Euro exchange rate 1.23 = CHF 7.93)
The comparison with LeShop is no better:
Rapunzel red lentils at www.leshop.ch
CHF 4.80 = 36.25 % more expensive than in Germany
on https://shop.rapun zel.de/
the same lentils cost
EUR 2.49
(calculated with exchange rate 1.23 CHF 3.06)
What's more, Migros/Alnatura/Le Shop is no cheaper than the small organic store next door for the products mentioned (not Migros' own brands, of course).
Too bad...
