The practical digital vouchers that you can activate were introduced some time ago.
Now in August you get 5x points every Thursday in Aargau if you show the voucher. BUT: you have to download the voucher every time, cut it out and take it with you.
Why is this happening again? Why are these not made available as digital vouchers like all the others?

The digital vouchers in the app and in the online account are valid throughout Switzerland, but the 5x August vouchers are an offer that is only valid for Migros Aare cooperative members - i.e. not even for all Cumulus members in this region. In addition, there is a separate valid voucher for each week.
Because it is such a regional and specific promotion, I assume that it will not be included in the national Migros app.
Thank you very much for your advice. But that can't be the problem. I receive many digital vouchers that are only valid for the Aare region, for example, and those that are personalized due to birthdays and memberships and are only valid with various restrictions. In addition, all digital vouchers are time-limited.
I would therefore be interested to know what the real reason is and whether Migros will at least not switch back to this tedious paper-based system more often in future.

I've just got home (made an extra large purchase for 400 francs) and have only just seen that the 5x points were not awarded. Unfortunately, I assumed that the points would be credited automatically. I hadn't realized that only "cooperative members" (which I am) can benefit. Otherwise, I really would have expected that the corresponding receipt could be activated in the Migros app. Then of course I would have done that and now received 2000 points, i.e. an extra CHF 20.

I am happy to give you an update on the coupon issue. We are aware that the situation with the coupon is not ideal at the moment, as the Migros Aare statutes stipulate that the data of the cooperative members must be kept secret. Unfortunately, it is therefore not possible to upload the coupon to the Migros app.
However, you can easily download the coupon with your smartphone at www.migrosaare.ch/5fach and show the barcode at the checkout.

Thank you for your clarification.
It is possible to determine whether someone is a member of the cooperative or not from every receipt. So there is a connection to Cumulus and therefore anything but "secret".
But let's put it behind us now. It is what it is, for whatever reason.

Would you please explain to me how it is possible to determine whether someone is a cooperative member or not from a receipt? After all, you never have to show the cooperative share certificate when paying.
