These parts have an "Adjustable ventilation opening for adjusting the air supply." But you don't give any information on how to use it. In other words, which products require it to be open/closed/half-open. I would be grateful for any additional information on this. Thank you.

The rubber strip between the two covers has come loose after a short time. Is there a way to repair this myself? Because it doesn't make any sense without a cover...
