The lamp constantly adjusts brightness and color when switched on again...annoying...I assumed the light sensor was at the top below...taped off...problem persists...nice lamp, but this circumstance is crap

To be able to help you better, it would be helpful to know whether you switch the FONDI office desk lamp on and off directly at the base, via a wall switch or via a plug-in strip. This could have an influence on the lamp settings.

I switch them on and off directly at the base (I have TWO of them on my office desk btw), so this sensor on/off while it stays plugged in via the transformer. PS I didn't even say: with BOTH lamps the described problem...somehow it wants to regulate brightness and color itself, but often wrong, sometimes full power bright and cold white when switching on...although I had never turned them off like that...

Our check has shown that the memory function of the FONDI office desk lamp works perfectly via the switch on the base. The problem could be due to a special house control system (such as DALI or KNX) or to regional ripple control signals in the power grid.

Mondilux AG has agreed to take the lights back as an exception. Please return the lights to your nearest MICASA store and show the receipt to receive a refund. Thanks, I think the lights themselves are great though, so does that mean they will NEVER react differently, even new ones? Did I rather think they would be replaced? But the current functionality of my two lights, yes, that's certainly not correct, although if they light up, then that's fine. About "exceptionally": I bought one of them on 01.12.22, the note says warranty period 60 months, until 30.11.2027...

Mondilux AG has informed us that they have sold over 700 units in 2024 and have not received any similar feedback so far. They would therefore like to test your lights at their premises. You can return your lights for testing and buy new ones if necessary.
