With pleasure, of course. Schaffhausen is my shopping region. I bought these eggplants last year and couldn't find anything about the variety on the label.
Hello Maierjoachim, the oriental fruit, also known as egg fruit, originally comes from India, but today it is grown all over the world. It is not suitable for eating raw. However, eggplants are delicious when grilled and seasoned with garlic, curry and pepper. Finger eggplants are longer and thinner than conventional eggplants. They are ideal for Asian dishes.
