Hello, I bought the thermometer in 2022. To change from Fahrenheit to Celsium, I think I have to do the following: "To change the display from °C to °F, switch the device off (O/I) and press and hold the start button (4) for 5 seconds; after these 5 seconds, the current measuring scale ("°C" or "°F" symbol) lights up on the display (16). Now change the measuring scale between °C and °F by pressing the start button (4). Once you have selected the desired scale, wait 5 seconds until the device automatically switches to "Ready for measurement" mode." However, when I try to do this, I do not get the measurement scale selection, but the sound display, which I could switch on/off. Can you please help me so that I can switch the thermometer from F to C again? Thank you!

I have the thermometer in front of me and it definitely shows Fahrenheit. This happened because my elderly mother tampered with it and I can't change it back. I also had to change it from Fahrenheit to degrees after I bought it, but as I didn't think I would need to do this again, I didn't keep the packaging on which the instructions were printed (not enclosed). Unfortunately, your answer is not helpful at all. If you don't know how to change the temperature from Fahrenheit to degrees, an online guide would help me, but I can't find any. Kind regards.
