According to the FDHA (Federal Department of Home Affairs) ordinance on beverages, a non-alcoholic beverage is a beverage from which alcohol has been removed or in which the fermentation of the wort is controlled in such a way that no alcohol is produced. The content of (ethyl) alcohol must not exceed 0.5% by volume. Traces of alcohol can therefore also be contained in a non-alcoholic drink. There is no health risk for children.
