My favorite vegetable mix! It tastes great and goes well with lots of things. But why exactly is there sugar in it? And what does the yeast extract and rice starch do? It says on the packaging that no flavor-enhancing substances have been added, but somehow that doesn't seem right to me...

The rice starch is used to bind the vegetable mix, the sugar and yeast extract are added to round off the taste. As stated on the packaging, no flavor-enhancing additives are added.

As "Guest" has already mentioned, the closure is a disaster. It would be best to cut the closure off completely and close the bag with a different closure. That would be an idea to improve it.

Integrating a zip closure into a stand-up pouch is very complicated, and the quality of these zips is also not to our satisfaction. For this reason, we will in future pack our Vite Fait vegetable mixes in bags without zippers again.
