Despite rigorous inspections, insects may occasionally find their way into the finished frozen product. For example, if an insect hides inside a Romanesco florets and is therefore not visible, it is difficult to detect during inspection. Unfortunately, technical detection is not possible due to the organic structure of the product.

My favorite vegetable mix! It tastes great and goes well with lots of things. But why exactly is there sugar in it? And what does the yeast extract and rice starch do? It says on the packaging that no flavor-enhancing substances have been added, but somehow that doesn't seem right to me...

The rice starch is used to bind the vegetable mix, the sugar and yeast extract are added to round off the taste. As stated on the packaging, no flavor-enhancing additives are added.
