Hello Migipedia Team
Is it true that Migros now only sells seasoned creamed spinach or chopped spinach? Apart from spinach leaves, I couldn't find any unseasoned spinach products. That would be a great pity and I would have to switch to the competition...
Thank you for your answer!
Hello Vielfrass, thank you for your question. In fact, organic spinach is the only unseasoned spinach we offer: Organic Chopped Spinach. We have gladly taken your request on board and passed it on to the relevant people. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, is this seasoned spinach or the spinach spice mix gluten-free?
Hello Aannaa, Farmer's Best IP-SUISSE chopped spinach does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). In addition, gluten-containing ingredients must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour). Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is the Farmer's Best minced spinach seasoned 800gr no longer available in Bern?
Hello 59SJ95
According to clarifications with our specialist department, the article is still listed, even in the smaller branches in the Bern region. However, there was a supply interruption at the beginning of the year and Farmer's Best IP-SUISSE spinach was temporarily unavailable. The product is now available again. Why has the M-Budget spinach been removed from the range?
Hello mybluefish, thank you for your question about M-Budget minced spinach. We have not been offering this for some time now. Demand has been steadily declining. For this reason, we decided to effectively discontinue this spinach from our range. The space on our shelves is limited, so we have to make a certain selection. As a result, we can no longer keep products in our range that are becoming less and less popular. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I have an allergy to onions and garlic.... is that in it? Thanks for the answer.
Hello liptonicetea Is described in the FDHA Ordinance on Soups, Condiments and Vinegars (817.022.103) as follows: Section 2: Meat extract, condiment, bouillon, meat bouillon and consommée, fish bouillon, sulze, soups and sauces Art. 4 Seasoning 1 Seasoning is a solid, mixable product made from table salt. 2 Other ingredients such as yeast, vegetables, mushrooms, spices and, to achieve better flowability, starch or fat can be added. Unfortunately, this won't help you much 🤷🏻♀️ Best regardsFrederica
Hi liptonicetea, seasonings are made from salt, but can contain many other ingredients such as yeast, vegetables, mushrooms, spices, etc. Onions and garlic are common ingredients in seasonings, including the one used in Farmer's best minced spinach. As an allergy sufferer, it is therefore best to choose unseasoned spinach and season it yourself. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros, I have noticed that the same 500g pack always tastes very funny, is lumpy and does not bind at all with the cream (I always add the cream myself). I have never had any problems with the 800g pack and it always tasted good. Why is the quality of the 500g minced spinach sooo bad and the 800g is always good? It is the same brand, only the gram ratios are different. I was able to throw away two packs because it just didn't taste good at all. Very strangely lumpy.
Hello Princissi, thank you for your message. The 800 g version is a seasoned ready-made product. Rapeseed oil, starch and the spice mix are already mixed and added to the spinach. This ensures optimum adhesion and distribution of the seasoning. Oil is also a flavor carrier and gives the spinach a well-rounded taste. However, the 500 g version is a natural minced spinach. The spinach is not seasoned here. Or are you referring to a different product? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I really like this product. It is quick to prepare and tastes good. However, I don't understand why rapeseed oil and starch have to be added to the spinach. Why can't the minced spinach just be natural, like the frozen leaf spinach, also from Farmers Best? Thank you for your answer
Hello Markderspinatmag. You can also buy natural spinach in Migros: Farmer's Best Minced Spinach 500 g, item no. 1616.169, is unseasoned and contains only spinach according to the list of ingredients. Farmer's Best Minced Spinach 800 g is a seasoned ready-to-eat product. Rapeseed oil, starch and the spice mix are mixed and added to the spinach. This ensures optimum adhesion and distribution of the seasoning. In addition, oil is a flavor carrier and gives the product a well-rounded taste. If you don't like it, try the other spinach without additives. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
