It is true - the product usually contains acrylamide. Acrylamide is mainly formed when carbohydrate-rich foods are heated above 120 °C. This is why there is little or no acrylamide in foods that are cooked. As our müesli products are baked, acrylamide is actually always formed.

For the assessment of acrylamide, we follow the Swiss guideline values. Our suppliers regularly test the products for acrylamide residues. Migros also randomly tests the products. If an excess is detected, no further processing takes place.
