This means that fruit is not compared with fruit, but fruit with meat products or dairy products, for example. The emissions per product are calculated and stated in CO2 equivalents. This means that the emissions of all greenhouse gases are taken into account, but converted into CO2. However, we have not had a separate CO2 balance calculated for each of our articles. This is not possible with tens of thousands of articles. For certain articles, the emissions data is used at the level of the product range (e.g. fruit).
