Is the bowl treated? I want to know if I can use it for baking
Hello SamanthaMentos, thank you for your inquiry. The Extra Tarocco half-blood oranges from Italy are untreated. We will also be offering Tarocco half-blood oranges online from January, which are also untreated. We hope this information is helpful for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I have been eating blood oranges for many years and love the sour taste. In my childhood I ate kilos of these oranges during the carnival season. In recent years and this year, unfortunately, I have repeatedly bought fruit from the extra blood oranges that has gone off. You can't see anything on the outside but as soon as you peel them you realize that something is wrong. The peel is difficult to remove and the fruit falls apart as soon as you peel it. Individual slices can only be made with great difficulty. The taste is also dreadfully pale and no longer sour. What is wrong with these fruits? Too much pesticide or what is the problem?
Hi ruby68, it's a shame that you regularly receive spoiled fruit or fruit that doesn't taste good. You can complain about this in your store and get a replacement or your money back. As we have not received any similar reports, we would like to investigate. To do this, however, we need the lot number (letters and numbers) and supplier details, if available. This will enable us to make specific clarifications. Thank you and best regards, your M-Infoline team

Migros is very committed to various environmental issues. I therefore don't understand why there is an "EXTRA" sticker on every orange which is made of plastic. Most of these plastic stickers end up in the green waste. So stop with these totally unnecessary stickers. Thank you very much!
Hello abueeler, thank you very much for your message about the stickers on oranges - we understand your point of view very well. The trend of applying stickers to fruit and vegetables is becoming more and more prevalent worldwide. However, this is not only happening to the satisfaction of consumers. Switzerland - or Migros - does not have enough influence to affect the common practice in European trade. The use of stickers also has advantages for you: As fruit and vegetables are increasingly on sale without packaging, the stickers provide information about the origin and variety. As you rightly write, the stickers are not biodegradable and must therefore be disposed of in household waste. We are in the process of procuring compostable alternatives for the stickers.
