I'm not sure whether the dichloromethane is really sufficiently removed after the caffeine removal! Hence my question as to whether "Migros" can also offer decaffeination using the CO2 method to be on the safe side? This process is considered one of the best decaffeination methods. It is particularly gentle and is therefore often used for high-quality green coffees. It is also the most natural and sustainable method. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Are the beans chemically decaffeinated?
Hello Schoggistaengeli_2, thank you for your inquiry. We use the dichloromethane process for decaffeination, whereby we remove the dichloromethane again after the caffeine has been removed.
