I walked into Migros and saw these beautiful deep red strawberries. I was a chef/kitchen manager for 16 years and know that ripe strawberries look something like this. At home - full of joy: "Finally strawberries again - and such beautiful ones at that!" So I prepare them - with a pinch of vanilla sugar - bite into them and enjoy... Probably nothing!!! It was as if the flavor had been washed out of these beautiful strawberries with water - completely. It wasn't just that my expectations were high and the taste just wasn't quite as good. There was simply hardly any flavor! With strawberries from nearby Thurgau!!!?
It's a shame that such experiences are repeated quite often - with many fruits and vegetables - at both Swiss wholesalers Migros and Coop. My opinion: In the long term, the most successful company in the marketplace is not the one that shouts the loudest, but the one with the better products. Less is more!
Hello guest
We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the taste of the strawberries. Of course, it is important to us to always offer very good quality in our stores. We try to guarantee this by setting clear requirements for our suppliers on the one hand and by carrying out strict checks on incoming goods on the other.
In general, you can return products to the store if they do not meet your expectations.
Best regards
