The producers are obliged to comply with the strict regulations laid down by Migros with regard to good animal husbandry. These specifications have been drawn up in collaboration with veterinarians. This specification, which is constantly evolving in favor of the well-being of the ducks, is regularly checked by the Swiss Quality Testing Service laboratory.
Strict rules are imposed on livestock farmers and strict controls are also carried out.
